In order to ensure fairness and integrity within Neolytica's network of labs, Neolytica has established a consistent set of business rules. Labs that enter into a service provider agreement with Neolytica must adhere to the business rules included here below and failure to maintain these standards is cause for suspension of membership with Neolytica.

1. Each lab must sign a confidentiality agreement holding themselves and their employees and representatives responsible for ensuring that no client confidential information is disclosed to any other person or entity without the written authorization of the client who owns the information.

2. Service labs will respond to all client complaints on a priority basis and will promptly provide copies of any written responses to Neolytica.

3. The laboratory shall provide reasonable access during normal business hours to Neolytica and its contractors to permit Neolytica to verify compliance with Neolytica’s standards, including provision for reviewing documents, inspecting testing areas, personnel and equipment.

4. For as long as a laboratory is a member in good standing of the Neolytica network, it may use the Neolytica logo, so long as it uses the logo consistent with requirements listed in the "Neolytica licensing agreement" posted on the Neolytica Website.

5. Where a laboratory is seeking ISO 17025 accreditation as required by Neolytica, the laboratory is expected to demonstrate continued progress toward that accreditation consistent with the time lines to which it committed at the time of being accepted into the Neolytica network.

6. The laboratory will maintain its quality systems registrations or accreditations (including any Federal, State or Local regulatory certifications) which were in effect when first qualified by Neolytica, and/or which were implemented as part of acceptance into the Neolytica network. The laboratory will notify Neolytica within 10 business days of any changes to accreditations or registrations.

7. The laboratory is expected to actively seek out, and participate in external proficiency testing studies which are relevant to work placed by Neolytica.

8. The laboratory will maintain a proactive Environmental, Health and Safety program that promotes safe operations, and the appropriate handling of client samples and other hazardous materials, including their ultimate disposition or disposal.

9. The laboratory will share with Neolytica's Quality Assurance department the results of relevant performance evaluation testing and any significant changes to the laboratory’s staff, equipment or operation that could impact its ability to provide services approved by Neolytica. This information will be provided to Neolytica within 10 business days of such information becoming available.

10. The laboratory will notify Neolytica's Quality Assurance department of ownership changes, government agency findings of non-conformance, and any litigation brought against the laboratory. This information will be provided to Neolytica within 10 business days of any such information becoming available.

11. The laboratory will consistently meet the project requirements and deliverables as documented in the project assignments.

12. The laboratory will make use of the Neolytica web site to document project scope changes or any other factors that could impact their ability to meet the project deliverables.

13. In the event of disputes between the laboratory and Neolytica, or Neolytica’s clients, the laboratory is expected to work with Neolytica in good faith to resolve the dispute(s).
