Neolytica to Deliver Nautilus™ LIMS Via ASP Architecture October 18, 2002 Neolytica (www.neolytica.com), a single point of contact for outsourcing and contracting analytical testing services, has formally signed an agreement with Thermo LabSystems, a Thermo Electron business (NYSE: TMO), to offer the Nautilus™ LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) solution to customers using the application service provision (ASP) model. With this agreement, Neolytica will begin piloting its LIMS service with a full operational launch anticipated in the first half of 2003. Neolytica Launches Pilot Program, Names Executives With the Support of Four Industry Leaders March 13, 2002 Neolytica (www.neolytica.com), a single point of contact for outsourcing and contracting analytical testing services, today announced the launch of its pilot program. The company also named Steve Gregory chief operating officer and Simon Kaalman acting chief technology officer. Gregory brings more than 20 years experience in the analytical services field to Neolytica. Kaalman adds more than 10 years of experience delivering laboratory automation solutions to Fortune 500 clients from his current role as Vice President of Thermo LabSystems. Four Founders Sign Definitive Agreement to Form Neolytica: New Company Targets Outsourcing of Analytical Testing Services March 12, 2002 Four industry leaders announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement forming Neolytica (www.neolytica.com), a Web-enabled, single point of contact for outsourcing and contracting analytical testing services. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW), Intertek Testing Services and Thermo LabSystems, a Thermo Electron business (NYSE: TMO), entered into the joint venture to address growing demand for cost reduction through outsourcing analytical testing and laboratory information management. The operational launch date for Neolytica is planned for the first half of 2002. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
